The New Imperial Order is overseen by the High Command, composed of the various branch and department heads, Ministers and Regional Governors. Each member of High Command has a respective area of specialisation and authority that they report to The Throne regarding. The High Command is further divided into what is called the Inner Council, which includes the Lord Steward, Executor, Grand Vizier, Director of Imperial Intelligence, Director of the Imperial Security Bureau, Commander of the Navy and Commander of the Army.

Leader of the Galactic Government, formerly Seat of Power of the Galactic Empire, the Imperial Throne currently sits empty with a false Emperor, Vodo Bonias, claiming power in the Galactic Empire. 

The empty Throne is symbolic of the New Imperial Order’s desire to see a true and worthy Imperial regime returned to the Galactic Government, and is indicative of the New Imperial Order’s willingness to return to the Galactic Empire when Vodo and his regime have been removed from power and a worthy replacement named.  Should this fail to occur, NIO will maintain the empty Throne for that day in the future when the New Imperial Order is named the Galactic Government, at which time the Executor of the New Imperial Order will be seated upon the Emperor’s Throne.

Emperor of the Galaxy

A Member of the Throne, and currently the ultimate authority within the New Imperial Order, the Executor is responsible for the overall direction and cohesion of the New Imperial Order, and for assigning strategic objectives to the branch commanders. The Executor is charged with protecting the Throne and ensuring the New Imperial Order does not falter or waiver from it’s mission statement: To devote itself to acquiring the strength of arms, economic might, and political power to be named the Galactic Government, or to provide a viable Imperial alternative to the decrepit remains of the Galactic Empire’s former glory as brought about by the perfidious Vodo regime.

The Chairman of the Commission for the Preservation of the New Order, the Grand Vizier is responsible for the coordination of all branches within the New Imperial Order. The Grand Vizier is the second-in-command of the New Imperial Order and is responsible to ensuring that the directives of the Executor are not left to abeyance.

Charged with the areas of continued evolution of Imperial culture, education, infrastructure and doctrine, the Grand Vizier directly oversees the Imperial Security Bureau, the Ministry of Research and Development and the Imperial Academy . Responsible for the safety and security of the New Imperial Order, the Grand Vizier maintains oversight of the New Imperial Army and New Imperial Navy. Supervising the economical growth, planetary infrastructure, resource allocations, recruitment and logistical necessities, the Grand Vizier directs the Imperial Ministry of Finance, the Imperial Centre for Recruitment and the Resource Allocations Division - Empire. Overseeing the political image, strategy and objectives of the New Imperial Order, the Grand Vizier also oversees the Ministry of Diplomacy and the Galactic Commerce and Economic Council.

Commanding an entire branch of the New Imperial Order, the branch commanders are considered experts in their field. Providing timely advice on tactical, intelligence and security concerns, the Branch Commanders manage and coordinate their respective branches to meet the requirements and expectations of The Throne. 

The two military branches of the New Imperial Order are the Army and Navy, which are responsible for securing and protecting New Imperial Order assets, personnel and interests. The Army provides for personal combat in both melee and ranged engagements, on planets, space stations and spacecraft. The Navy provides for all aspects of space and limited air combat involving capital ships, starfighters and freighters.

The two intelligence branches of the New Imperial Order are Imperial Intelligence and the Imperial Security Bureau. Imperial Intelligence is charged with the identification and analysis and minimisation of threats and opportunities outside of the New Imperial Order. Whereas the Imperial Security Bureau is charged with the maintenance of internal security through the identification, analysis and interception of threats within the New Imperial Order.

Responsible for the maintenance, infrastructure, economical growth and general management of their Sector, including the direction of attached military units, the Sector Governor's roles are wide and varied. They are generally also responsible for a support department within COMPNOR or run a nationalised faction.

There are three Ministerial organisations within the New Imperial Order; The Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Diplomacy and the Ministry of Research and Development. The Ministry of Finance is responsible for the build up of infrastructure with the purpose of creating positive revenue, allocation of funds to the various branches and departments, and the payment of salaries for personnel. The Ministry of Diplomacy is responsible for the official interactions of the New Imperial Order with other factions, including first contact, trade agreements and treaties of various scales, and the public image of the New Imperial Order. The Ministry of Research and Development is responsible for the continuous research into better technologies for use by the New Imperial Order for military, government, and civilian applications.
